HOTT and ULI Toronto completed our walking tour earlier this week where we highlighted the variety of affordability options available in Toronto. As we know, housing affordability is a critical issue in our city, in which not-for-profit organizations play an important role. From addressing the deepest levels of affordability to implementing new and innovative solutions, the work of housing providers impacts the landscape of affordability in Toronto.
This tour showcased the ways in which affordable housing providers like HOTT operate and help to ensure that rental stock is maintained as affordable through programs such as the City of Toronto’s Multi-Unit Residential Acquisition (MURA) program.
We thank all the attendees and the ULI team for joining us. It was great to meet others in the sector interested and invested in learning more about affordable housing.
